Job summary

WSP in Canada seeks a Specialist, HSSEQ Investigations to lead complex investigations into health, safety, environmental and quality events, strengthening our safety culture and organizational learning.

You will analyse data and timelines, conduct stakeholder interviews, apply root cause methodologies and identify systemic risks and gaps.

Produce clear reports, present findings to leadership, and help implement corrective actions across teams to drive continuous improvement and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in investigations, root cause analysis, or similar environments.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
• Demonstrated expertise in investigation techniques and analytical problem solving.
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to diverse audiences.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 - $138,000

MB & ON: $95,000 - $130,800

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $94,100 - $124,900
