Job Description: Business Development Manager in Quebec

We are seeking an energetic Business Development Manager to oversee a crucial book of business in Quebec. The role offers significant growth opportunities within our current customer portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new business, expanding existing accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and participating in project management.

The Business Development Manager will focus on maximizing value within large volume customers by emphasizing client retention and account development. Responsibilities include maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new and upsell opportunities, auditing accounts, and meeting targets and satisfaction levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop business within hospitals and large-volume clients
  • Support the development and execution of customer account strategies aligned with business metrics
  • Build trust as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and aligning solutions
  • Create a blueprint for key accounts, including contract terms and services
  • Manage projects and solve problems to drive outcomes across departments
  • Provide ongoing in-service education on products and services related to safety, sustainability, and efficiency
  • Offer product expertise across our service offerings
  • Collaborate with internal teams including operations, sales, logistics, and finance
  • Support new product installations and program implementations
  • Participate in strategic customer meetings and quarterly reviews
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of industry sales experience (preferred)
  • Strong closing and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in hospital services or related industries highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong presentation skills with confidence in value-based selling
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office, and related tools
