Position Summary:
The Special Process Technician – Aircraft Chemical Processes and Paint Shop is responsible for carrying out special process functions within the Manufacturing and Distribution Organization (MDO). These functions include, but are not limited to, the preparation of manufactured aircraft parts to receive protective coatings and the application of such coatings. Specialized protective coatings meeting rigid OEM standards including alodine, anodize, and specialized primers and paints must be applied. This role ensures that all special processes are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
