Special Operations Guard, Mobile Operative

Join to apply for the Special Operations Guard, Mobile Operative role at GardaWorld.

Ready to suit up as a Mobile Tactical Security Guard. Your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly is essential. You will patrol environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers, and you will be moving around throughout your shift.

Schedule

24 / 7 availability required (30–40 hours weekly).

Training

Three days of training with a supervisor, 12-hour shifts from 1900 to 0700. Training rate: $18.

Compensation

Hourly pay rate $19.00 / hr. After a 3-month probation, $20.50 / hr. Address: L8E 2V9.

Responsibilities
  • Patrolling in a variety of settings (mobile and foot)
  • Enforcing property rules, city by-laws, and other applicable laws
  • Deterring and responding to incidents on the property
  • Responding to emergencies
  • Grounding at sites when required
  • Maintaining posted speed limits and driving in a safe manner
  • Driving for extended periods of time
  • Managing company and client property (keys, phone, vehicle, etc.)
  • Maintaining detailed notes and writing detailed report notes
Qualifications
  • A valid security guard license and first aid card
  • 1 year security experience
  • Valid driver’s license (full G or G-2) with a clean driving record
  • Clear criminal background and driving record
  • Must be 19 or older for insurance reasons
  • Eligible to work in Canada
