Job summary

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma and 2–3 year college diploma in a relevant field.
• Bachelor degrees recognized; BMS training is an asset.
• Related work experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• In collaboration with teachers, support goals based on academic needs (IEP).
• Support development and monitoring of therapeutic programs per board/external guidance.
• Administer medication and maintain records per policy and safety standards.
• Adhere to student safety plans and support personal care needs.
• Assist communication needs via sign language or other methods; support records.
• Attend meetings and professional development; participate in Student Success Team.
• Supervise students in various school settings to ensure safety.
