Job summary

Purolator in Dieppe, New Brunswick is seeking a PM Sorter to join our warehouse team. This role sorts freight by destination, weight, size and shape to meet client delivery schedules, with a Sunday 5:00pm–1:00am and Monday–Thursday 6:00pm–1:00am shift (33.5 hours/week).

Starting pay rate is $19.28/hour, rising to $21.09 after 3 months. Experience: specialized education not required; no experience necessary.

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
• Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
