Description

Location: 2245 Douglas Rd, Burnaby, BC V5C 5A9

Shift: Monday to Friday 1:30am to 8am, 30 mins unpaid break

Pay-rate: $23.63 per hour (with annual wage increases, top rate at $29.23 per hour in 48 months)

The AM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
• Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery
