Job summary

Purolator in Grande Prairie is hiring for an AM Sorter (Part Time). You will sort and prepare freight for delivery, working 20 hours weekly from Monday to Friday, 04:45–08:45. The role requires the ability to lift up to 70 lbs and a strong sense of urgency to meet tight schedules.

No prior experience is required; specialized education is not necessary. A safe, team-focused warehouse environment is provided with competitive hourly pay of $28.93.

Working Hours: Part Time 20 hours per week

Monday to Friday 04:45-08:45

Wage: $28.93 per hour

The AM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
• Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery

Requirements

• Proper scan and load techniques
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a time sensitive environment
• Willingness to work as part of a team
• Attention to process, quality and/or operational standards
• Successfully complete a criminal record check and employment verification to qualify
• Obtain a clear Police Clearance Certificate when required
