Job summary

Purolator in Edmonton is hiring a PM Sorter for the Edmonton South Depot. This part-time role covers 16:00–19:00, Monday to Friday, with a 15-hour weekly schedule and permanent contract. You will sort freight by destination and assist with loading, unloading, and scanning packages to meet delivery timelines.

No prior experience is required; training will be provided. You must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and wear CSA-approved footwear in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks.
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out.
• Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer.
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles.
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items.
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.

Location: Edmonton South Depot - 3104 97 Street

Working Hours: 15 weekly hours

Scheduled Shift: part-time 16:00-19:00 Monday to Friday

Employment Contract: Permanent

Pay rate: $23.40/hour

The PM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.
