Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly in Mississauga is hiring for a warehouse role supporting sorting, shipping, receiving, and inventory management. You will oversee daily operations, monitor safety, and mentor junior team members in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers shift-based schedules, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within a leading last-mile logistics network across three continents.

Responsibilities

• Safety and Compliance: Ensure health and safety protocols, uphold hazard-free work environment, and conduct safety audits.
• Operations management: Supervise sorting, scanning, packing, shipping, receiving, dispatching, and inventory control.
• Team leadership and monitoring: Mentor and train warehouse staff, schedule shifts, and assess performance.
• Quality control: Perform quality checks on sorted freight and inbound/outbound processes.
• Administration and reporting: Data entry, report submission, manage driver credentials and BOL exchanges.
• Warehouse organization and maintenance: Maintain cleanliness, organize layout, and oversee sorting setup.
• Other duties as assigned

Core Duties:

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols andmaintaina hazard-free work environment.
• Enforce safe working methods and behaviors within the team.
• Conduct safety audits and warehouse checks.
• Respond to emergencies asrequired.

Operations management

• Supervise sorting, scanning, and processing packages (including defective items and returns).
• Ensure sorting operations are completed correctly and efficiently
• Oversee shipping, receiving, dispatching, and inventory management.
• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests.
• Unloading and Loading: Assign labor, unload pallets.
• Assist with Sorting, helpwith sorting packages and envelopes as needed.
• Inbound and outbound freight movement Management support,
• Confirm and communicate with optimization team on daily bases beforestartoperations
• Day-to-Day Monitoring, Track Line Haul operations, communicate with carriers, andmonitorFMC for Amazon freight.

Team leadership and monitoring

• Mentor and support Package Handlers during thesortprocess.
• Coach and mentor warehouse associates, including training new hires.
• Schedule warehouse associates
• Evaluate and assess employee performance,workplace conduct and compliance asrequired, including discipline whereappropriate.

Quality control

• Conduct quality checkups and sorted freight and inbound and outbound process.

Administration and reporting

• Perform data entry as needed.
• Complete and Submit Reports
• Handle driver credentials, BOL exchange, and secure docking.

• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization.
