Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead sorting, loading, unloading and inventory controls in a fast-paced Moncton facility. You will oversee daily operations, ensure safety, quality and timely processing of packages, and coach team members to meet performance targets.

This role focuses on coordinating with carriers, managing labour, and maintaining organized, hazard-free warehouse space while supporting continuous improvement and cost control initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce safe working methods and behaviors within the team.
• Safety and Compliance: Conduct safety audits and warehouse checks.
• Safety and Compliance: Respond to emergencies as required.
• Operations management: Supervise sorting, scanning, and processing packages (including defective items and returns).
• Operations management: Ensure sorting operations are completed correctly and efficiently.
• Operations management: Oversee shipping, receiving, dispatching, and inventory management.
• Operations management: Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests.
• Unloading and Loading: Assign labor, unload pallets.
• Unloading and Loading: Assist with Sorting, help with sorting packages and envelopes as needed.
• Inbound and outbound freight movement Management support: Confirm and communicate with optimization team on daily bases before start operations.
• Day-to-Day Monitoring: Track Line Haul operations, communicate with carriers, and monitor FMC for Amazon freight.
• Team leadership and monitoring: Mentor and support Package Handlers during the sort process.
• Team leadership and monitoring: Coach and mentor warehouse associates, including training new hires.
• Team leadership and monitoring: Schedule warehouse associates.
• Team leadership and monitoring: Evaluate and assess employee performance, workplace conduct and compliance as required, including discipline where appropriate.
• Quality control: Conduct quality checkups and sorted freight and inbound and outbound process.
• Administration and reporting: Perform data entry as needed.
• Administration and reporting: Complete and Submit Reports.
• Administration and reporting: Handle driver credentials, BOL exchange, and secure docking.
