Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly, a Canadian leader in last-mile logistics, is seeking a warehouse supervisor in Williams Lake, BC. You will oversee safety, shipping, receiving, inventory, and daily route planning to ensure accurate records and on-time deliveries.

• Manage shipping, receiving, dispatching and inventory processes; handle packing and returns.
• Maintain delivery logs, POD checks, and daily reports for clients and management.
• Provide coaching and supervision to drivers and warehouse staff; ensure SOP adherence.

Your Role: At the Heart of the Chain

Salary Range $48,125.00 - $60,156.50

Core Duties

• Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment; Enforce safe working methods and behaviors within the team; Conduct safety audits and warehouse checks; Supervise warehouse traffic, van audits and ensure safe vehicle movements; Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization; Respond to emergencies as required.
• Cleaning, general housekeeping: Operations and Logistics Oversee shipping, receiving, dispatching, and inventory management; and package dispatching process; Conduct quality checkups on return pickups and return to the client process; Create/confirm driver bookings with relevant BPs; Generate the next day’s route plan and send optimization emails to the Optimization team; Conduct IDCs/Drivers check in/ out, loading unload trailers and verify freight against manifests; Assist with sorting, scanning, and processing packages (including defective items and returns).
• Reporting and Administration: Maintain accurate delivery, incident, and inventory logs, and submit comprehensive daily reports; Complete daily reports and submit to the clients, Station team and Manager (AMZ Daily Case report, Shift Handover, etc.); Audit Proof of Delivery (POD) reports and report back on compliance to IDC liaison; Complete daily timesheets and submit to the Station Manager; Perform data entry as needed.
• Team leadership and Customer service: Assign daily tasks to staff, monitor productivity, and ensure compliance with SOPs; Prepare and monitor performance reports (on-time deliveries, exceptions, etc.); Provide coaching, support, and training to drivers and warehouse staff, including onboarding of new hires; Address delivery complaints, damages, or lost packages promptly; Ensure high service standards and customer satisfaction; Evaluate and assess employee performance, workplace conduct and compliance as required, including discipline where appropriate; Other duties as assigned.
