Job summary

Energy Smart Canada is seeking 2 dedicated Solar Installers to join a growing team. The role focuses on installing solar panels and related equipment on homes and businesses, using hand and power tools, and adhering to strict safety standards.

The ideal candidates have a mechanical background with electrical experience, can read blueprints, and are comfortable outdoors in various weather conditions. A Class 5 driver’s license is required, and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in construction or electrical fields.
• Able to read blueprints and technical drawings related to solar installations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Must have Class 5 driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels and associated equipment on residential and commercial properties.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to secure solar modules and mounting systems.
• Perform rigging tasks to safely lift and position solar components.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout the installation process.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during installation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
