Job summary

DNV Energy Systems is hiring a Project Manager Solar Independent Engineering (Distributed Generation, Residential & Storage) to lead diverse solar projects across North America. You will coordinate technical reviews, manage client relationships, and contribute to proposals and business development while advancing the energy transition with cutting-edge solutions.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and coordinate the technical review process among internal specialists including civil and electrical engineering, energy assessment, technology, and permitting teams, and write due diligence reports.
• Manage overall project management activities and maintain excellent customer communication as the primary contact for due diligence engagements.
• Conduct portions of due diligence reviews including contract and financial model reviews and synthesize inputs from technical disciplines.
• Discuss and resolve technical issues with project developers, lenders and investors, coordinating input from internal specialists.
• Develop and win proposals for scopes of services related to due diligence work.
• Coordinate or perform construction monitoring and site visit activities.
• Support customers through financial closings of projects.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts including tool development and process refinement.
• Advance team and industry thought leadership and contribute to the mission of accelerating the energy transition.
• Support our mission and vision while delivering impactful projects from inception to completion.
