Job summary

DNV Energy Systems in Calgary, Canada, is seeking a Project Manager for Solar Independent Engineering (Distributed Generation, Residential & Storage). You will oversee distributed generation and solar storage projects across North America, coordinating with developers, lenders, and internal specialists to deliver due diligence and engineering services.

You will lead technical reviews, manage project life cycles, and contribute to proposals and business development.

Qualifications

• Strong project management capabilities across complex multi-disciplinary projects.
• Excellent communication with customers, lenders and internal teams.
• Experience with due diligence reviews and financial models is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and coordinate the technical review process among internal specialists and compile due diligence reports.
• Manage overall project activities and maintain strong customer communication as primary contact for due diligence engagements.
• Lead portions of due diligence reviews including contract and financial model assessments.
• Develop and win proposals for scopes of services related to due diligence work.
• Coordinate construction monitoring and site visits.
• Support customers through financial closings of projects.
• Drive process improvement, digitization, and knowledge sharing within the team.
