Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in soil analysis, interpretation, and agricultural advisory services.
  • In-depth knowledge of arid and semi-arid soils and data interpretation software.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive soil sampling and analysis to assess physical, chemical, and biological properties.
  • Interpret soil analysis data to diagnose fertility issues, nutrient deficiencies, and soil degradation problems.
  • Develop and recommend soil management strategies, including fertilization programs, liming, cover cropping, and erosion control.
  • Provide expert advice to farmers on best practices for soil conservation and sustainable land management.
  • Collaborate with agronomists and other agricultural professionals to integrate soil management into broader farm plans.
  • Conduct field trials to evaluate the effectiveness of different soil improvement techniques.
  • Maintain detailed records of soil analyses and recommendations for reporting and future reference.

About the Role
