KONGSBERG Discovery Canada Ltd. in Port Coquitlam, BC, Canada, is seeking a Software Test Co-op Student to help verify and validate desktop, embedded, and system-level software used with underwater sonar systems.
Reporting to the Software Manager, you will develop manual test procedures, assist in creating automated test scripts, report defects, and contribute to continuous improvement of test processes in a multidisciplinary team of software, hardware, and systems engineers.

Reporting to the Software Manager, the Software Test Co‑op Student will support the verification and validation of software applications used to configure, control, monitor, and test underwater sonar systems. This position provides hands‑on experience working with real‑world hardware and software systems in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
The successful candidate will assist with manual and automated testing activities, test development, defect reporting, and software quality improvement initiatives while working closely with software, hardware, and systems engineers.
