THE ROLE:

As the Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to manage End-to-End ownership of overall solutions for innovative products. Solid program management of various software development teams, monitoring the quality of the resulting software deliverables and a strong partnership with the customer support teams are the key focus area of this role.

THE PERSON:

The right candidate will have solid knowledge of program management, an impeccable track record of delivering complex silicon and software programs, and experience with SOC product development. Strong organization and leadership skills and a passion to drive the program to completion are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Plan and execute programs focusing on quality and deadlines.
  2. Drive completion of all required deliverables, with a focus on customer quality feedback and established deadlines.
  3. Create and maintain project management artifacts such as schedule, resource forecast, risk and issues logs.
  4. Provide unique views of project status updates and facilitate cross-development team dependencies and communications.
  5. Identify action or mitigation plans for issues or risks that arise during the project lifecycle.
  6. Collaborate with core teams and execution teams to identify areas that require special attention or escalations to identify corrective actions.
  7. Collect, analyze, organize and publish work performance data via dashboards and recurring status reports.
  8. Be a strong self-motivator, with a sense of urgency when needed and strong crisis management skills.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  1. Proven Project & Program Management experience in dynamic and competitive industry, particularly within Software Development or Engineering based organizations.
  2. Experience working with productivity tools i.e., JIRA or Confluence.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Horizontal leadership/Matrix management experience is required; People management is desirable.
  5. Flexible working schedule to manage global program execution team (Asia and North America emphasis).
  6. PMP certification is a plus.
  7. Agile development or certification is a bonus.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  1. Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is desired.
