Job Description

SUMMARY

ABC Fitness Solutions is looking for a talented Software Implementation Specialist to join our growing team. This role involves leading and managing projects to ensure successful onboarding of clients while aligning with the organization's goals. The position requires close collaboration with clients, partners, and internal teams to drive strategic initiatives from start to finish. Attention to detail is crucial due to project complexity. Throughout the project lifecycle, this person will be the main client contact, communicating scope, timelines, quality standards, risks, and expectations for software implementation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and facilitate ownership from project initiation through project lifecycle to completion.
  • Participate in end-to-end implementation planning including project management, risk management, communication and change management. Define project schedules, objectives and allocate resources.
  • Gather, configure, and implement business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Configure software to meet client’s business requirements, and facilitate training with clients in software and best business practices.
  • Ensure completion of deliverables; monitor and review project progress and timelines; adjust schedules and plans as needed; and identify and resolve issues to ensure project success.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and their representatives to identify their needs and keep them updated on project status. Facilitate requirements gathering and assist with the creation of project deliverables as needed.
  • Facilitate UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance signoff.
  • Schedule touch points with clients to review goals, project status, and overall performance during implementation and document feedback
  • Proactively work to build effective and positive relationships with peers, leaders, and internal customers while also demonstrating the ability to meet customer expectations and deadlines
  • Report weekly to management by performing ongoing review of project scope, identifying, defining and communicating risks and change requests that can potentially impact the overall project and devise contingency plans; Participate in project meetings and provide recommendations for solutions / mitigation, proactively escalate, and facilitate resolution as needed.
  • Track milestones, manage task / project dependencies, manage and monitor task progress, handoffs, and deliverable status through our project management tool, Financial Force.
  • Familiarize on product management, software updates / releases and maintain continuous education of all ABC products and platforms.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED :

  • 1-3 years of project management experience, preferably at a software company
  • 2-4 years of experience in a client-facing role
  • Strong organization and time management skills with an ability to manage a broad range of activities simultaneously
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional project and work with peers in a team effort
  • Proficient in application implementation and testing practices
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Flexibility in schedule, particularly on occasions of deadlines or escalated issues
  • Support of corporate mission, core values, and long-term objectives
  • Travel for company events as needed; up to four times annually
  • Project Management Certification (preferred)
  • Basic ABC / Ignite knowledge (preferred)

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only and based on employees in Canada and may be different in other countries. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and location, as well as market and business considerations. Our pay range for Canada based candidates for this position is $65,000.00 $70,000.00 CAD annually. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and commissions.
