Job summary

Equisoft, a global provider of digital solutions for insurance and investments, is hiring a Senior Project Manager in Québec City with a hybrid work model. You will lead cross-functional teams of analysts, architects, configurators, and QA to plan, execute, and deliver complex IT and finance projects.

You will drive process improvements, manage budgets and timelines, and coordinate client-facing initiatives within CRM/ERP implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or IT or college diploma with 3 years of relevant experience.
• 10–15 years of IT or finance project management experience.
• PMP and/or Scrum Master certification or equivalent.
• Experience in Project Development Cycle Management.
• Experience in client-facing projects and CRM/ERP implementations.
• Strong knowledge of Web technologies and environment.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology.
• Available for occasional travel.
• Experience in Financial Services or Insurance industries (asset).
• Excellent verbal and written skills in both French and English.

Responsibilities

• Identify, plan and manage development and implementation stages of assigned projects.
• Evaluate tasks and identify resource requirements (human, financial, material).
• Monitor project progress, timelines, budgets, and deliverables quality standards.
• Assist customers during the definition period; collect and summarize information.
• Coordinate activities required for project approval and preliminary analysis.
• Plan, monitor and control scope, risks, costs, change requests, issues, resources and communications.
• Lead and coordinate project teams and assist staff in completing tasks.
• Promote interaction between customers and project teams.
• Maintain management indicators and control change requests.

Role:

TheSenior Project Managerreports tothe Director of Projectsand works closely with 7 to 10 team members that include Business Analyst, Architect, Configurator and QA. The incumbent willidentify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions in order to optimize the business processes and workflow; thereby participating in the achievement of the company’s goals and the satisfaction of our clients.

Equisoft /Manage is a cloud SaaS Policy Administration System designed to offer a comprehensive suite of features that streamline insurance operations, providing a seamless experience for both insurance providers and their clients. Our platform allows insurance providers to reduce hosting and support costs, stellar speed-to-market, leverage state-of-the-art integration while stay secure & compliant. Our platform also provides advanced analytics and reporting tools that provide insights into customer behavior, allowing insurance providers to tailor their services to their clients’ needs.

Your Day withEquisoft:

• Identify, plan and manage the development and implementation stages of assigned projects
• Evaluate the tasks to be completed and identify resource requirements (human, financial and material)
• Monitor project progress, timelines, budgets, as well as deliverables quality standards
• Assist the customers during the project definition period; then collect and summarize the information
• Participate, as required, in the preparation of the preliminary analysis; and coordinate all activities required for project approval
• Plan, monitor and control the scope, the risks, the costs, the change requests, the outstanding issues, the human resources and the communications for all assigned projects
• Lead and coordinate the work of the project teams and assist the staff in completing the tasks
• Promote interaction and cooperation between the customers (internal / external) and the project teams
• Maintain management indicators records on the projects progress and control the change requests related to these projects

Requirements:

Technical

• Bachelor’s Degree inComputerEngineering orInformation Technologyor College Diploma combined to 3 years of relevant experience

• 10-15 years of experience of IT or finance project management

• PMP and/or Scrum Master certification or equivalent

• Experience in Project Development Cycle Management

• Experience in client-facing project, not just internal initiatives

• Experience in implementation project of CRM and/or ERP

• Very good knowledge of Web Technologies/Environment

• Knowledge of the Agile methodology

• Available for occasional travel

• Experience in the Financial Services or Insurance industries (asset)

• Excellent verbal and written skills in both French and English
