Equisoft is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Application Developer (Kotlin-Java/React) for a hybrid role based in Québec City, Canada. You will work with a 13-member team to design, develop, and implement web features of a cloud-native PAS built for insurers worldwide.

The role emphasizes Agile practices, SOLID coding, and collaboration across QA, business analysts, and product owners. The product roadmap includes AI-powered capabilities and ongoing modernization efforts.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or information technology
• 8–10 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of Kotlin, Java or .Net
• Excellent knowledge of SQL
• Excellent knowledge of microservice architecture
• Good knowledge of React or Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Knowledge of GraphQL and REST APIs

Role:

The Senior Full-Stack Application Developer (Kotlin-Java/React), reports to the Director, Product Development,youwill be working with a team of 13 members that include developers, QA, business analyst, PO and functional developer. The candidate willbe responsible fordesigning, developing, and implementing various features and components of a web-based product application built in Kotlin.If you would like to be part of a creative technicalteamfocusedon the best practices, innovation and collaboration as well asworking in an agile and constantly evolving environment.

Below, is a brief description of the expected product the candidate will be working on

The product is a cloud-native Policy Administration System (PAS) built for insurance carriers. The platform supports the full policy lifecycle, from underwriting and issuance to billing, claims, and commissions, across life, whole life, and annuity products for carriers around the world.
The product is in active growth, with new insurance lines and AI-powered capabilities on the near-term roadmap. Joining the team means building something that matters, in one of the most complex and transformation-driven industries in financial services.

Technical
