Job summary

TradeBeyond Limited is seeking a Software Implementation Consultant in Vancouver, Canada to analyze and align business processes with the CBX PLM and Sourcing Software. You will validate applications, configure workflows, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver client-ready solutions.

The role involves conducting pilots, defining tests, and ensuring project progress while traveling as required. A Bachelor's Degree and experience in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Preferably with systems integration experience.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Java, XML, J2EE, JSON and APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile Development, Scrum or Kanban.
  • Scrum Master experience is an advantage.
  • Retail/Consumer products experience is a plus.
  • Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes to design, develop and execute them against the client workflow processes.
  • Validate complex business applications to verify the system works per the requirement specification and address the business need.
  • Collaborate with functional, industry, and technical specialists to assist with development, implementation and integration of innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to client satisfaction by providing timely and responsive value-added services and work products.
  • Prepare for and conduct conference room pilots for customers demonstrating the capabilities of the CBX PLM and Sourcing Software.
  • Configure software to support the customer's business processes.
  • Work with customer to define and execute test scripts.
  • Monitor project progress relative to assigned tasks and communicate progress to management.
  • Work with CBX architecture, development and QA teams to ensure the customer's software needs are met.
  • Travel as required on projects.

The Role


As a Software Implementation Consultant, you will focus on the analysis of business processes to design, develop and execute them against the client workflow processes. You will be responsible for validating complex business applications to verify the system works per the requirement specification and validate the system addresses the business need. You will work alongside functional, industry, and technical specialists to assist with the development, implementation and integration of innovative solutions including methods, techniques, tools, change management, and training. You will contribute to client satisfaction by providing timely and responsive value-added services and work products.


Also, you will:



  • Provide Tradebeyonds expertise to customers

  • Provide best-practice input in the definition of customer's \"to-be\" business processes

  • Prepare for and conduct conference room pilots for customers demonstrating the capabilities of the CBX PLM and Sourcing Software

  • Configure software application to support the customer's business processes

  • Work closely with customer to define and execute test scripts
  • Monitor project progress relative to assigned tasks and communicate progress regularly to management

  • Work with CBX architecture, development and quality assurance teams to ensure the customer's software solution needs are met


Skills:



  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills

  • Preferably with systems integration experience

  • Familiarity with some or all of these technologies a plus: Java, XML, J2EE, JSON, API

  • Familiarity in Agile Development, particularly Scrum or Kanban

  • Scrum Master experience is an advantage

  • Retail / Consumer products experience (business or information technology) a plus

  • Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree


Travel Requirement:



  • Able to travel, as required on projects
