Job summary

Abnormal AI in Canada seeks a Software Engineer II to contribute to the Dev Accelerator Team, building the internal developer platform that powers 100+ engineers.

You will own high-impact projects across CLI tooling, CI/CD, libraries, and test infrastructure, collaborating with product engineering, Infrastructure, SRE, security, and other partner teams to deliver reliable, scalable tooling for AI-enabled product development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience or strong interest in using LLMs to improve developer workflows (e.g., AI-native CLIs).
• Proficiency with AI tools to accelerate engineering outcomes and automate tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve the internal developer platforms that support Abnormal AI engineering.
• Own high-leverage projects across CLI tooling, CI/CD, shared libraries, and test infrastructure.
• Work across Python, Go, Bazel, Kubernetes, AWS, and CI systems to improve reliability and speed of the Golden Path.
• Shape abstractions and workflows that are AI-native and consumable by humans and AI agents.
