Remitly Canada, Inc. is seeking an AI Native Software Engineer II to lead the creation of AI-driven applications and automations. You will direct AI agents to build products end-to-end, translating customer needs into deployable solutions while ensuring security, privacy, and reliability.

As a full‑stack product builder, you will orchestrate AI to deliver value, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and iterate based on usage data and outcomes. Hybrid onsite schedule in Canada is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience using AI coding agents for end-to-end application development.
• Ability to craft effective prompts and iterate to achieve outcomes.
• Understanding of full-stack apps (frontend, backend, data, infra).
• Familiarity with web APIs, databases, queues, and common architectures.
• Ability to read analytics like usage metrics and error rates.

Responsibilities

• Build complete applications and basic agents within your product area using AI coding agents.
• Translate customer needs into buildable specifications from requirements through deployment.
• Instrument solutions to track usage and outcomes and iterate based on data.
• Evaluate AI-generated output against security, privacy, reliability, and quality standards before shipping.
• Participate in customer conversations to identify automation opportunities.
