POSITION SUMMARY :

The Heritage Grocers Group Information Technology team collaborates with other departments to develop and support business systems used throughout the company. We are seeking a passionate, experienced Software Engineer, Business Intelligence, to perform business analysis, develop software, and provide operational support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Software Development duties

• Design and Develop: Create and maintain BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge.
• Collaborate: Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
• Data Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis to improve business operations and decision-making.
• Data Management: Develop and manage BI tools, reports, dashboards, etc.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity and report accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

To succeed, the employee must perform each duty exceptionally. Requirements include:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist, retail experience a plus.
• Strong skills in C#, .NET Framework, Azure Datalake (plus).
• Experience with ERP integrations, MS SQL Server, SDLC, Agile, Github, Azure DevOps.
• Problem-solving skills and creative solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, Tableau, and other tools (plus).
