Job summary

CMiC, headquartered in Toronto, seeks a developer to contribute to RESTful API development, modify existing APIs, and create new APIs using Oracle ADF BC REST and Jersey frameworks. Database level development is also required to support the APIs.

You will design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, secure code; improve tools and processes; create documentation for APIs, tools and processes; review code, and analyze problems to identify solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of work experience with OO programming languages (preferably Java).
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming Concepts and design patterns.
• Understanding of REST over HTTP.
• Understanding of J2EE and experience programming in Java.
• Understanding of RDBMS concepts and experience with SQL/PLSQL.

Job Overview

The main responsibility of this role is to contribute to the development of RESTful APIs to support our front-end applications. You will modify existing APIs and create new APIs using both Oracle ADF BC REST as well as Jersey frameworks. Development at the database level is also required for this role to support the APIs. Your Tasks would involve:

Requirements

• Honed interpersonal and communication skills
• Minimum 3+ years of work experience using any object-oriented programming languages (preferably Java)
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming Concepts and design patterns
• Understanding of REST over HTTP
• Understanding of J2EE and experience programming in Java
• Understanding of RDBS concepts and experience with SQL/PLSQL
