Job summary

CMiC, headquartered in Toronto, seeks a developer to contribute to RESTful API development, modify existing APIs, and create new APIs using Oracle ADF BC REST and Jersey frameworks. Database level development is also required to support the APIs.

You will design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, secure code; improve tools and processes; create documentation for APIs, tools and processes; review code, and analyze problems to identify solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of work experience with OO programming languages (preferably Java).
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming Concepts and design patterns.
• Understanding of REST over HTTP.
• Understanding of J2EE and experience programming in Java.
• Understanding of RDBMS concepts and experience with SQL/PLSQL.

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable and secure code.
• Improve tools and processes related to API development.
• Create documentation for the APIs, tools and processes that you work on.
• Review code written by others.
