Job summary

Key Equipment Services, part of Heritage Food Service Group of Canada, is seeking a Service Technician for commercial kitchen appliances. You will service coffee machines, toasters, slicers, ranges, fryers, steamers, and combi-ovens, delivering reliable, customer-focused support.

The role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel for training or site coverage. OT and on-call rotation are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

  • Education in appliance service or related field preferred.
  • Gasfitter certification preferred or willingness to learn during training.
  • Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting commercial food equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Responsibilities

  • Service commercial cooking equipment including coffee machines, toasters, slicers, ranges, fryers, steamers and combi-ovens.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication.
  • Work overtime and participate in on-call rotation.
  • Occasionally travel to other locations for work or training.

You will be servicing commercial cooking equipment, commercial gas, steam, and electric food equipment such as: coffee machines, toasters, slicers, ranges, fryers, steamers, and combi-ovens. If you are not currently qualified, we will support your future training and educational goals. Your role will use your industry knowledge to service complex equipment; while providing exceptional customer service to our customers - you get to be the HERO every day!
