Job summary

Intact is hiring multiple Software Developer interns to join our Digital, Data and Tech teams for Winter 2027 (Jan–Apr) in Canada. You’ll contribute to features across Harbour, Mentor, IT-Health, and Agora, learning modern Java development, CI/CD practices, and scalable services.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in CS, available full-time 35 hours/week, and excited to learn, collaborate, and deliver value within a dynamic, agile team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in software development, CS, or related field.
• Available to work full-time 35 hours per week for Winter 2027 (Jan–Apr).
• Active student and plan to return to studies in summer/fall 2027.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and curiosity about CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop features for Harbour, Mentor, IT-Health, and Agora.
• Triage and fix production issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile setting.
• Contribute to testing, deployment, and observability practices.
• Build and improve REST services using Java stack.
