Job summary

Intact is launching a new internship program for Test Automation Developers across two specialized teams (Billing and Personal Lines) in Montreal. You’ll join 3,000+ Digital, Data and Tech experts and work with Java, Groovy, Selenium, Cucumber and CI/CD in a modern insurance tech environment.

Currently pursuing a university degree in software engineering or computer science, you will work full-time (35 hours/week) for Winter Term 2027, be bilingual in Quebec, and contribute to automated testing,

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts utilizing Groovy, Cucumber, ReadyAPI and Selenium.
• Design, create, and manage test cases in Zephyr, link with Jira tickets, execute automated and manual tests.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and collaborate with developers and QA to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to QA process improvements and automation frameworks.
