Job summary

Intact is launching an AI Developer internship in Vancouver, inviting students to work 35 hours per week during Winter 2027. You will join a growing team of Digital, Data and Tech experts, building AI solutions and learning cutting-edge tech.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in AI or software disciplines, able to work in Canada, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment with hands-on projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in AI, software engineering, computer sciences, or related field.
• Available to work full-time, 35 hours/week, Winter 2027 (Jan–Apr).
• Must be an active student and plan to return to school in Summer/Fall 2027.
• Eligible to work in Canada; no Canadian work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Build and test AI products, write clean code, create prototypes, and validate with unit tests.
• Analyze data to extract insights and translate findings into recommendations.
• Collaborate in an agile squad using Confluence/Jira for collaboration.
• Document how things work, support deployments, share updates and estimates, assist with production handoffs.
• Stay current on new approaches and bring them to your solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation to deploy and support completed systems.
• Provide estimates and status reports as needed.
