Job summary

Interac Corp. is seeking a Software Developer to join the RTR Exchange team.

You will develop and maintain highly distributed, high-performance systems and microservices, collaborating with operations to analyze and resolve issues, and participate in on-call rotations. Requirements include a university degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent, 3+ years of software development experience, and eligibility to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• 3+ years software development experience.
• Eligible to work in Canada in a full-time capacity.
• Experience with REST API development and microservices architecture.
• Java application development using Spring/Spring Boot/JPA/Hibernate.
• Relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle.
• Cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (AWS ECS).
• Application security like authentication/authorization and secure coding.
• Event-driven and messaging architectures.
• Frontend tech: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular.
• Experience in agile development and full software delivery lifecycle.

Who You Will Work With:

You’ll be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining the company’s highly distributed, high-performance systems.
• Building and supporting resilient microservices applications, encompassing the full development lifecycles.
• Supporting the operations group in application problem analysis and resolution.

You bring:

• A University degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years software development experience.
• Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
• Experience withREST API developmentandmicroservices architecture
• Experience in Java application development using frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Experience in database design and development using relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Experience in cloud technologies like AWS or Azure.
• Experience incontainerization and orchestration tools, such asDocker,Kubernetes, AWS ECS.
• Experience in application security such as authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices
• Experience with event-driven and messaging-based architectures.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular.
• Experience working in agile development environments and contributing to the full software delivery lifecycle.

The hiringrangefor this position is $115,000-$125,000 , and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan. The exact amount will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, butInterac’scommitment goes beyond compensation.
