Interac is seeking an accomplished Senior Software Engineer to lead Money Movement platform development. You will steer architecture, design, and modernization of enterprise‑scale applications built with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, REST/SOAP, and AWS.
In this role, you will mentor engineers, drive best practices, and collaborate with architects to deliver secure, high‑availability payment solutions that align with Interac's modernization initiatives.

Reporting to the Leader, Product Core, Money Movement, the Development, Lead is responsible for providing technical leadership and hands‑on development expertise for Interac's Money Movement platforms. The role leads the design, development, modernization, and support of enterprise‑scale applications built using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, SOAP/Web Services, and AWS cloud technologies. The successful candidate will drive engineering excellence, mentor developers, lead solution design, and deliver secure, scalable, and highly available payment solutions supporting Interac's strategic modernization initiatives.
The hiring range for this position is $145,000 to $160,000, and you will also be eligible for our short‑term incentive plan. The exact amount will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and job‑related knowledge, but Interac's commitment goes beyond compensation.
