Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW).
  • Professional registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
  • Proven experience in child protection services or child welfare.
  • In-depth knowledge of child protection legislation and policies in South Africa, specifically the Northern Cape.
  • Excellent assessment, crisis intervention, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to conduct home visits.
