Job summary

Placements24 partners with a Kimberley childcare centre to hire an experienced Childcare Centre Supervisor. You will oversee daily operations, ensure a safe, nurturing learning environment, and lead a team of childcare staff.

You will implement the curriculum, engage with parents, and maintain regulatory compliance while fostering professional development and strong teamwork within the centre.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development or related field.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in childcare, 2+ in supervision/management.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and early learning frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the childcare centre to maintain high care and education standards.
• Supervise, mentor, and support staff; conduct performance reviews and development.

You will be responsible for staff supervision, curriculum implementation, parent engagement, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a deep commitment to early childhood education within the Northern Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the childcare centre, ensuring a high standard of care and education.
