What Will Your Next Role Look Like?

As our Social Media Marketing Specialist, you will be the voice of Peliplat across key digital platforms. You'll craft engaging, creative, and strategic content that deepens our connection with film lovers around the world. From shaping our social narrative to growing our online communities, you’ll help bring the magic of cinema to millions.

This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes digital culture, understands the film community deeply, and knows how to create scroll-stopping content that sparks conversation.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management & Strategy

• Manage and grow Peliplat’s social media presence across all social media platforms, such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, among others.
• Develop, schedule, and publish daily content aligned with brand voice and marketing objectives.
• Monitor trends and viral conversations in the film world and creatively insert Peliplat into them.
• Support the development and execution of global campaigns, ensuring local cultural resonance.

Content Creation & Community Engagement

• Create multimedia content (short-form videos, carousels, stories, memes, polls, reels, etc) that connects with our global and local audience.
• Collaborate with influencers & content creators, editors, writers and filmmakers to develop engaging storytelling content.
• Foster an interactive and inclusive online community — respond to comments, join discussions, and amplify user-generated content.
• Coordinate live events, AMAs, and interactive initiatives that celebrate film culture and story telling.

Influencer & Creator Collaborations

• Identify and engage with influencers, film reviewers, and content creators for campaign collaborations and content amplification.
• Track performance of influencer activations and build long-term creator relationships.

Analytics & Optimization

• Track and analyze social media performance using native analytics tools and social media management platforms.
• Use insights to optimize posting times, formats, and messaging to maximize reach and engagement.
• Stay on top of algorithm changes and platform features to keep Peliplat ahead of the curve.

• Passionate about film and digital storytelling — you can talk Tarantino and TikTok in the same sentence.
• A content creator at heart — you know how to craft a compelling hook, edit a Reel, or write a viral tweet.
• A strategic thinker — you understand the “why” behind every post and how it fits into broader marketing and business goals.
• A natural community builder — you know how to spark conversation and foster belonging in digital spaces.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation.
• Proven success managing accounts across multiple platforms and driving organic growth.
• Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Suite).
• Excellent writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, etc.) and knowledge of design tools like Canva or Photoshop.
• Knowledge of film culture, creators, and trends — from indie circuits to global blockbusters.
• Fluency in English required; Bonus points if you have Spanish or Portuguese.
