Job summary

Intelligent Change is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead our voice across platforms, blending strategy, storytelling, and a mission-driven approach to grow our audience and engagement. This fully remote role prefers candidates near Toronto, Canada.

You will manage calendars, craft compelling captions, collaborate with creators, engage communities, and monitor metrics to drive growth and impact. Remote with a global footprint and wellness focus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in social media management for lifestyle, wellness, or mission-driven brands.
• Strong copywriting and editing skills to craft short, impactful posts that connect emotionally.
• Excellent aesthetic sensibility with experience working with visual creatives.
• Proficiency with Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest; bonus experience with scheduling tools (Later/Planoly/Iconosquare).
• Deep understanding of social trends, analytics and algorithm shifts.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working remotely with a distributed team.

• Strong resource and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
• Create and manage a monthly content calendar with 100+ posts per week across channels; align with product launches and themes.
• Write and edit captions and microcopy that reflect our brand voice: inspiring, calm, intentional, insightful.
• Collaborate with video creators and editors to produce on-brand visuals and short-form content.
• Engage with the community by responding to comments and tagged stories with warmth and purpose.
• Track performance metrics weekly and monthly to inform content and growth strategies.
• Partner with influencer and affiliate marketing teams on collaborations and campaigns.
• Monitor wellness and lifestyle trends to keep content fresh and relevant.
• Manage external freelance resources including workflow, budget, and performance.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who’s not just fluent in content creation, but deeply aligned with our mission. You’ll be the voice of Intelligent Change across all social platforms, blending strategy, storytelling, and soul to grow our audience, deepen engagement, and inspire daily transformation.

Location: This is a fully remote position open to candidates anywhere in the world. However, we have a strong preference for applicants based in or near Toronto, Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute the social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.

• Create and manage a monthly content calendar aligned with product launches, brand themes, and community moments averaging 100+ posts per week across channels.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in social media management, ideally within lifestyle, wellness, or mission-driven brands.
• Strong copywriting and editing skills—able to write short, impactful posts that connect emotionally.
• Excellent aesthetic sensibility and experience working with visual creatives.
• Proficiency with Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest (bonus: experience with Notion, Figma Capcut, or scheduling tools like Later/Planoly/Iconosquare).
• Deep understanding of social trends, analytics, and algorithm shifts.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently with a remote team.
