Department Overview

The Marketing and Colleague Experience team develops, executes and manages initiatives and strategies to support TD Securities in achieving marketing objectives. We showcase the company's vision through marketing programs, client, brand and experience research. We provide insights and analysis to influence strategic client-centric business decisions.

As a key business partner, the team acts as a key consultant on all aspects of marketing, influencing strategy, as well as ensuring that the TD brand is protected and deliver on the customer experience.

Job Description

We are seeking a Social Media Manager who is a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of platform and social content best practices. You'll play a critical role in shaping our paid and organic social media presence, working in tandem with the Director of Digital Content to drive brand awareness and engagement via social media. Responsibilities

  • Own and drive organic social media strategy and execution, ensuring that it aligns with broader digital content objectives.

  • Plan, create and publish business content across social media channels, tailored to platform best practices.

  • Serve as the social media subject matter expert across the Marketing and Colleague Experience organization and TD Securities as a whole.

  • Partner with creative and multimedia teams to develop compelling social-first assets including imagery, carousels, videos, photography, and motion graphics.

  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance, delivering actional insights. Lead with a test-and-learn approach, applying results in real time to shape content and campaigns that drive results.

  • Monitor trends and performance to inform content decisions and long-term planning

  • Train and mentor junior colleagues on social best practices including writing copy, designing assets, and community management.

  • Oversee social media governance working in tandem with the Enterprise Social COE with Marketing Operations to ensure compliance with brand, legal and regulatory guidelines.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Reconcile paid social budgets, track spend and ensure timely payment of invoices.

Experience & Education

  • Undergraduate degree in communications, journalism, marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience required.

  • 5+ years experience managing social media preferably at an enterprise company, B2B organization, or large agency.

Other Qualifications

  • Subject matter expertise across social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube and an interest in emerging trends.

  • Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders to drive alignment and innovation.

  • Enthusiasm for driving creative innovation while working within a highly regulated industry.

  • Proficiency in Sprinklr, Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality execution.

  • Working knowledge of investment banking and capital markets preferred.
