Job summary

Air North is seeking a Social Media & Community Investment Coordinator to enhance online presence across Air North and related brands. Based in Whitehorse, you will craft engaging content, manage calendars, and drive community outreach in collaboration with the Marketing Team.

You will engage audiences, report on performance, and support events and partnerships to amplify impact while aligning content with business goals. This full-time role offers strong benefits and travel perks.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Minimum two (2) years of professional experience in social media management and digital content creation
• Experience working across departments, contractors, and vendors in a corporate setting
• Proven ability to create and manage social media content across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube)
• Strong accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks to maintain trust with passengers, partners, and communities
• Enthusiasm for contributing to Air North's mission, through customer service, operations, or behind-the-scenes support
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Nice to have: Fluency in written French; photography, video, or graphic design experience

Responsibilities

• Create original multimedia content (photos, videos, graphics) for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube and Pinterest
• Plan and manage a content calendar; schedule and publish daily content across accounts
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to plan and deliver campaigns and storytelling
• Actively engage with followers by responding to comments, tags, and mentions
• Support on-the-ground event coverage with live posting, photography, and videos
• Work with stakeholders to align social media content with business goals
• Monitor analytics to track performance and provide data-driven recommendations
