Job summary

Clintar is hiring for the winter season to join our on-call ice and snow team responsible for efficient clearing and de-icing. All roles require availability on short notice, around the clock, and may operate overnight depending on winter conditions.

Candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, lift 50+ pounds, and respond quickly to emergency calls. This role emphasizes reliability during peak winter periods and ensures safe, clear outdoor spaces.

Qualifications

• Clean and valid driver’s license
• On-Call availability, especially during evenings, weekends, and holidays from November – April
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Prior snow experience is an asset

Responsibilities

• Operate snow removal equipment, such as snow blowers, snow shovels, or salt spreaders, depending on the job and equipment availability
• Shovel, snowblow, or use other hand tools to manually remove snow and ice from designated areas
• Apply salt, sand, or other de-icing agents to surfaces to improve traction and melt ice
• Be prepared to respond to emergency calls for snow removal, especially during heavy snowfalls or severe weather conditions
