Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services is hiring a Snow Removal sidewalk Supervisor for the winter season. All roles are on-call, during the day or overnight, contingent on winter conditions. Candidates must be available on short notice, round the clock.

Lead a snow team, coordinate de-icing and removal at sites across Canada. You must be able to use snowplows, loaders, and snowblowers safely, with a focus on safety and customer service. Compensation ranges per hour and shifts vary by location.

Qualifications

• 2-year experience as a snow removal crew lead.
• Cellphone with data required.
• On-call Nov–Apr; short-notice availability.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Familiarity with sidewalk tractors and de-icing.
• Supervisory experience preferred; strong customer service.
• Excellent communication and organization; willingness to work irregular hours.

Responsabilités

• Lead snow team and direct crew in de-icing and removal tasks.
• Clear snow and ice from parking lots, sidewalks, driveways and roadways using equipment.
• Maintain and inspect snow removal gear for safety and performance.
• Ensure safety gear and procedures are followed during operations.

• Apply salt or de-icing agents to surfaces to prevent ice formation.
• Operate heavy machinery safely (snowplows, loaders, snowblowers).
• Respond to emergencies and night snows to maintain access and safety.

Job Summary

Clintar is hiring a Snow Removal sidewalk Supervisor for the winter season. Join our ice and snow team focused on efficient clearing and de-icing. All roles are on-call, during the day or overnight, and contingent on winter conditions. Candidates must be available on short notice, round the clock.

Responsibilities

• Lead snow team, and direct crew members in de-icing and snow removal tasks.
• Responsible for removing snow and ice from designated areas, such as parking lots, sidewalks, driveways, and roadways. This can involve the use of snowplows, snow blowers, shovels, and salt or de-icing agents.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of snow removal equipment to ensure it operates safely and effectively.
• Ensure that all snow removal activities are conducted safely, including the proper use of safety gear and equipment.
• Coordinate with supervisors, property owners, or managers to provide updates on snow removal progress and any problems that may arise.
• Apply salt or other de-icing agents to surfaces to prevent ice formation and improve safety.
• Operate heavy machinery such as snowplows, front-end loaders, or snowblowers proficiently and safely.
• Be prepared to respond to emergency situations, such as heavy snowfall during the night, to ensure safety and accessibility.

Qualifications

• 2-year experience as a snow removal crew lead
• Must possess a cellphone with data
• From November – April, must be available on short notice and on-call depending on weather conditions and storms
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Familiarity with sidewalk tractors
• Proficiency in operating snow removal equipment safely
• Experience being a supervisor and managing a team preferred
• Good customer service skills are essential to handle inquiries and requests professionally.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliability and the ability to respond to emergencies or work during irregular hours, such as nights and weekends, may be required.

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
