Job summary

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in Golden, BC, is seeking skilled snow groomer team members for seasonal shifts. You will operate grooming equipment, perform routine maintenance, and report safety concerns to Mountain Safety, contributing to a safe mountain environment.

The role requires flexibility for afternoons, graveyards, holidays and weekends in extreme weather; competitive hourly wages across Groomer levels and staff perks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience operating snow-grooming equipment with an excellent safety record.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic operations and maintenance of equipment.
• Team-oriented with good communication with diverse people.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate grooming equipment with pre/post trip inspections.
• Perform daily light maintenance (fluids, cleaning, greasing, fueling).
• Report unusual noises and conditions to Maintenance.
• Complete daily vehicle logs and data input.
• Maintain high-traffic areas and slopes.
• Perform snow removal, snow farming, and snowmaking.
• Relay grooming information to Security for daily report.
• Record and report hazards to Mountain Safety.
• Support health and safety and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Work flexible shifts including afternoons, graveyards, holidays and weekends in extreme weather.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
