Job summary

Whistler Blackcomb is seeking a Snowcat Operator for the Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. You will groom and prepare the snow surfaces for skiing guests and operate some of the coolest equipment in the ski industry. We seek self-motivated, coordinated and meticulous individuals who love the mountains.

Starting wage is CAD 20.00–23.00 per hour, full-time hours available, housing is offered. Must be 18+, valid license, English fluent, and able to work in a team to maintain trails and machines.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Experience operating heavy machinery is required.
• Ability to sit for extended periods during shifts.
• Must be fluent in English to communicate on-site.
• Able to safely enter/exit heavy grooming machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate grooming equipment safely.
• Prepare and groom ski area trails and surfaces.
• Collaborate with team members.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform preventative upkeep.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.

Skills

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Safe operation of grooming equipment
• Prepare and groom ski area trails and surfaces
• Work collaboratively with others.
• Minimize downtime through preventative maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep of machines.
• Other duties as assigned
