Job summary

Whistler Blackcomb in Whistler, BC, seeks an Advanced Guest Services Attendant to help guests with tickets, lift services, and information, delivering memorable mountain experiences.

You will respond to inquiries, monitor social channels, and coordinate weather/operational communications, while representing the company at local events and collaborating with multiple departments to enhance guest satisfaction and operations.

Qualifications

• Exceptional guest service.
• Superior oral and written communication.
• Advanced spreadsheet (Excel) skills.
• Familiarity with Whistler and Blackcomb mountains.
• Knowledge of social media channels and ability to speak to Whistler Blackcomb’s audience.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests in a positive and professional manner and respond to email inquiries.
• Social media monitoring and engagement on all channels as needed.
• Manage Whistler Blackcomb’s daily weather and operational communications.
• Represent and promote Whistler Blackcomb at local tourism events.
• Build and maintain strong inter-departmental relationships.
• Provide insights on guest experience using qualitative data and surveys.
• Coordinate job shares within the PSS division and other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Through facilitating the sale of tickets to our many resort services such as lift passes, lessons, childcare and more, our friendly agents shine as the key to epic adventures for our guests

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $21.50/hr - $26.88/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Interact with guests in a positive and professional manner, respond to email enquiries (both internally and externally generated).
• Social media monitoring and engagement on all channels as needed.
• Manage Whistler Blackcomb’s daily weather & operational communications including: messaging, composition, recording, and results tracking.
• Represent and promote Whistler Blackcomb at local tourism focused events such as Inside Scoop.
• Building and maintaining strong inter-departmental relationships.
• Provide insights on guest experience by analyzing qualitative/unstructured data and identify areas for improvement: This includes our post-trip survey program, guest services feedback forms, social media channels, and enquiries via our department inbox.
• Work closely with the PSS leadership team. Coordinate job share’s within the PSS division.
• Other duties as assigned.
