Job summary

Agilus by Synergie in Ottawa, Ontario is seeking an overnight SMT Operator to run automated placement equipment and support electronics assembly. You will load feeders, enter programs, and prep for the next build to maximize machine productive time.

Responsibilities include PCB handling, SMT processes (pick & place, screen print, reflow), product inspection, setup and calibration, and collaboration with engineers when issues arise. Training begins on day shift to ensure a smooth transition.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required with PCB handling experience.
• Experience with ESD practices and IPC 610 standards preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with engineers.

• PCB handling and preparation for assembly.
• Operate SMT equipment: pick & place, screen print, and reflow.
• Inspect products and ensure quality.

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for an SMT Operator (Overnight) in the electro-mechanical assembly industry in Ottawa, Ontario. As a SMT Machine Operator (for electronic assembly), you will tend to the machine by quickly and efficiently loading/replenishing feeders with reels of components, entering programs into automated placement machinery, and prepping for the next build with the primary goal being to maximize machine productive time.

Responsibilities

• PCB handling
• SMT techniques including pick & place, screen print, and reflow
• Product inspection
• Setup, and calibration according to set processes and diagrams
• Providing support and working with engineers when problems arise

Requirements

• High School Diploma, minimum 3 years of PCB Handling, ESD Practices, and working experience with IPC 610 Standards, ideal
