Job summary

Dynamic-Source-Manufacturing-Inc. (DSM) in Calgary is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for the midnight shift to operate, monitor, and maintain equipment used to assemble printed circuit boards accurately and efficiently.

You will set up and run machinery, troubleshoot when problems arise, perform preventive maintenance, and work with a team committed to quality and timely delivery in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics manufacturing is advantageous.
• Technology diploma or similar is an asset.
• Intermediate computer skills to load programs and respond to equipment notifications.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and short correspondence.
• Good time management to meet deadlines.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Solid verbal communication skills and teamwork.
• Available to work midnight shift and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate and monitor machinery and related equipment/processes.
• Troubleshoot equipment when problems arise.
• Set-up and tear down equipment.
• Clean and perform operator preventative maintenance where required.
• Perform visual inspection of boards to confirm placement and polarity of components.
• Perform other duties as required.

12:00 AM - 6:30 AM Monday - Friday

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring and maintaining machinery and related processes to ensure printed circuit boards are assembled accurately and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Set-up, operate and monitor of machinery and related equipment/processes
• Troubleshoot equipment when problems arise
• Set-up and tear down equipment
• Clean and perform operator preventative maintenance where required
• Perform visual inspection of boards to confirm accurate placement and polarity of components
• Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working in an electronics environment is considered an asset
• Experience working with machinery or Technology diploma is an asset
• Intermediate computer skills - comfortable navigating a computer to load programs, retrieve data and respond to equipment notifications
• Ability to read and follow instructions and short correspondence
• Good time management and the ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Solid verbal communication skills, ability to communicate problems and find solutions with the team
• Team player and a good attitude to achieve results together
• Available to work midnight shift and overtime
