We are looking for an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) to collaborate with an Adult Education Expert in reviewing and localizing existing courses to meet Canadian industry standards and regulatory requirements. The focus will be on Canadian standards, ensuring courses align with local certification, legal, and ethical frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Course Analysis: Conduct a detailed, lesson-by-lesson review of course content to ensure accuracy and relevance to Canadian standards.
• Regulatory Alignment: Ensure the course meets provincial certification and regulatory requirements, with a focus on Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia.
• Cultural and Linguistic Adaptation: Revise the course for Canadian English, terminology, and cultural relevance.
• Legal & Ethical Compliance: Update the course to reflect Canadian privacy laws and ethical guidelines.
• Media Updates: Advise on necessary updates to media assets (videos, interactivities, etc.) to align with Canadian standards.
• Course Review Report: A detailed analysis of content, including necessary revisions to meet Canadian standards.
• Certification & Testing Review: Guidance on provincial licensure and exam delivery formats.
• Cultural Guide: A guide to ensure language and content are culturally and regionally appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Experience in course development and adult education.
• Strong understanding of Canadian regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
• Expertise in adapting content to Canadian language, legal, and ethical norms.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Canadian professional bodies (e.g., CPBAO).
• Experience in certification processes and regulatory compliance.
