Qualifications

  • 5+ years of payroll processing experience required.
  • Extensive knowledge of multi-jurisdictional payroll and legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide payroll knowledge and support on Canadian payroll legislation.
  • Maintain government contacts and analyze legislation.
  • Facilitate seminars and corporate training sessions.

Skills

Bilingual in French and English
Payroll processing
Knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation
MS Office proficiency

Education

College and/or University Degree in a related field
PCP or PLP designation

Base pay range

CA$80,000.00/yr - CA$85,000.00/yr

Our client located in Toronto is looking for a Bilingual Payroll Compliance Specialist

to add to their team.

Job location: Fully remote, anywhere in Canada

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing payroll knowledge, support, and training on Canadian payroll legislation
  • Maintaining government contacts and agencies and analyzing legislation
  • Facilitating seminars, corporate training sessions, and webinars
  • Updating payroll information for professional standards and programs
  • Supporting the development of best practices and website resources
  • Contributing to articles, discussion papers, and legislative analysis
  • Any other duties as required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Fluently bilingual in both French and English
  • PCP or PLP designation
  • 5+ years of payroll processing experience
  • College and/or University Degree in a related field
  • Extensive knowledge of multi-jurisdictional payroll and legislation
  • Superior working knowledge of MS Office
