Job summary

Onni is seeking a field-ready technician to install and configure AI-powered systems for client environments in Vancouver. You will set up cameras, sensors, access control, and monitoring devices per project specs, while testing networks and IT infrastructure for reliability.

Responsibilities include cabling, device configuration, and providing on-site or remote support. Must have 2+ years in field service and a valid driver’s license with strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in field service, low-voltage installation, or technical support.
• Must have: a valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.
• Physical requirements: ability to lift and install equipment.
• Certifications (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Install and configure hardware and software solutions in client environments.
• Set up, test, and troubleshoot AI-driven devices and networking components.
• Install cameras, IoT sensors, access control, and monitoring devices per project specs.
• Run and test low-voltage cabling (Cat5e/6/6a, coax).
• Configure network devices, IPs, VLANs, and security best practices.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and provide on-site or remote support.
• Maintain installation records, diagrams, and configuration docs.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and sales for deployments.
• Train end users on system operation and maintenance.
