Onni Property Management Services Ltd is hiring for an on-site field technician focused on installing and configuring low-voltage systems for smart building deployments. You will set up cameras, sensors, access control and data networks in client environments, ensuring secure, scalable operations.

Install and configure hardware and software solutions, ensuring seamless operation in client environments.
Set up, test, and troubleshoot AI-driven devices, sensors, servers, and networking components to ensure full functionality.
Assemble, mount, and securely install cameras, IoT sensors, access control systems, and smart monitoring devices as per project specifications.
Run, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, coax, etc.) for networking and data systems.
Install, terminate, and troubleshoot fiber optic cabling, including splicing and connectorization as required.
Perform structured cabling installations, including racks, patch panels, and cable management for efficient and scalable network deployments.
Conduct cable labeling, dressing, and testing to ensure proper signal integrity and compliance with industry standards.
Assist in power distribution setup, ensuring safe and efficient wiring for AI-powered systems.
Configure network devices, routers, switches, and access points, ensuring secure and stable connectivity.
Ensure proper IP addressing, VLAN configurations, and network security best practices.
Integrate AI-driven analytics software, cloud-based applications, and edge computing solutions with existing client infrastructure.
Perform system diagnostics, connectivity tests, and troubleshooting to resolve installation or performance issues.
Work with customers to fine-tune AI systems, ensuring optimal operation based on site-specific requirements.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients, both on-site and remotely, ensuring they can operate systems effectively.
Maintain accurate installation records, as-built diagrams, and configuration documentation for internal and client reference.
Ensure all installations meet safety, industry, and client-specific regulations.
Conduct site surveys to assess project requirements and recommend installation strategies based on site conditions.
Work closely with engineering, project management, and sales teams to ensure successful deployments.
Train end users and clients on system operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices.
2+ years in a field service, low-voltage installation, or technical support role.
Strong knowledge of low-voltage cabling, fiber optics, and structured cabling installations.
Experience with networking (routers, switches, wireless access points, IP configurations, VLANs).
Familiarity with IoT devices, security systems, AI-driven technology, and cloud platforms.
Low-voltage certifications (BICSI, FOA, etc.).
Fiber optic splicing/certification.
Networking (CCNA, CompTIA Network+).
Ability to lift and install equipment, work in various environments, and travel to client sites.
A valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.
